Geelong Veterinary Clinic and Equine Hospital is a purpose built, comparatively large clinic set in a pleasant rural garden setting on 25 acres. Situated 10 minutes from the heart of Geelong and only 60 minutes from Melbourne. 

Our strength at this practice is our experience, commitment to the highest standard of service and professional veterinary care.

Dr. James Vanner, Principal Vet, has over 20 years experience in general medicine and surgery.  He lives on the premises with his family.

As described on our “Services” page, we have the facilities and technical expertise to offer first class care for all small animals and equine. Our recently completed equine surgery will allow most surgeries to be performed on site.  Renovations on our small animals' surgery, kennels, reception and consultation rooms are nearing completion.  

Our vets continue to upgrade their knowledge and skills and offer the latest techniques in evaluating medical conditions. The practice has a strong commitment to preventative medicine and is available as a referral centre for specialists.

There are often a number of key treatment options available for particular cases; therefore we ensure an open and frank assessment in discussions with owners. At all times we take into account emotional, financial and desired performance criteria when planning the most appropriate course of treatment.
